The service and not advice

Casharchy provides Casharchy as a US personal and household finance tracking and forecasting web application (denominated in USD) covering cash flow, spending, debt payoff, brokerage allocations, net worth, 2026 US federal income tax estimates, and long-term projections.

Casharchy is an informational and record-keeping tool. Cash forecasts, debt amortization schedules, portfolio figures, long-term wealth projections, AI suggestions, and the US federal tax worksheet are mathematical calculations based on your inputs and assumptions, not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. The federal tax estimate models 2026 US federal rules and is not a prepared or filed tax return. Casharchy is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or tax preparer, does not move money or execute trades, and does not recommend securities.

Account model and responsibility

Each Casharchy account is owned by a single sign-in (Google, or an email address and password) representing one private personal or household workspace; separate sign-ins do not share records or plan entitlements. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in, any personal MCP keys and any backup passphrases secure. Your household is responsible for the accuracy of the figures, categories, tax assumptions, and projection settings you enter, and for reconciling your records against your financial institutions’ official statements. See Pricing for what Free and Paid accounts include, and how returning to Free preserves all saved history while stopping future bank syncs.

Subscriptions, renewal, cancellation and refunds

A Paid plan is a subscription billed in US dollars, monthly or yearly, at the price shown when you subscribe. Payments are processed by Stripe; Casharchy never receives or stores your full card number. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, charging the payment method on file, until you cancel. You can cancel, switch between Monthly and Annual, update your payment method and download receipts at any time in Settings > Manage billing. When you cancel, Paid features stay on until the end of the period you have paid for and the subscription then ends; you are not charged again. Founder’s pricing stays in place for as long as your subscription continues without ending.

If a payment fails, Stripe retries it for about two weeks and Paid features keep working meanwhile; if it still cannot be collected, the subscription ends and the account returns to Free. Payments are non-refundable and partial periods are not credited, except where the law requires otherwise or we choose to issue a refund; contact support@casharchy.com. Deleting your account cancels any subscription immediately, without a refund for the rest of the period. We may change prices for future billing periods with advance notice by email; a change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

Acceptable use

You may use Casharchy only for lawful personal or household financial management. You agree not to misuse the service, connect financial accounts you are not authorized to access, redistribute market quote data, interfere with or probe the application or its infrastructure, bypass rate limits or access controls, or submit unlawful or harmful content through imports or issue reports.

AI output accuracy

Optional AI tools use OpenAI to parse uploaded statements or pay stubs, review monthly spending for possible duplicates, and propose cash forecast updates. AI outputs can be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying every proposed entry or deletion before confirming it.

Connected accounts, sync cadence, and market data

Paid accounts can connect US financial institutions through Plaid, and Brokerage retrieves delayed informational market quotes from Yahoo Finance for personal portfolio tracking only. Bank connections refresh via a daily scheduled job (21:00 UTC) and on-demand when you press Sync Connections, and expired institution logins or consent can be repaired in Settings via Plaid Link Update mode. Imported balances, transactions, holdings, liabilities, and market prices depend on third-party providers and financial institutions and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Casharchy is not responsible for third-party service availability or data accuracy, and you remain responsible for payments, trades, and account activity at your financial institutions.

Availability

Casharchy is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of uninterrupted availability or error-free operation. Features may be updated or discontinued, and we recommend exporting periodic encrypted backups from Settings > Backup.

Termination and account deletion

You may stop using Casharchy and delete your account at any time in Settings > Backup > Delete account (see Delete account and Privacy). Confirming deletion revokes every connected institution at Plaid, purges any issue-report screenshots stored for your account, and permanently deletes your Casharchy records and sign-in account. Casharchy may suspend or terminate access if an account violates these terms or creates a security or legal risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Casharchy and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, data, tax penalties, investment losses, overdrafts, or missed payments arising from your use of or inability to use Casharchy, including reliance on any forecast, tax estimate, market quote, institution sync, or AI output.

Changes to these terms and governing law

Casharchy may update these terms by posting the revised terms on this page with an updated effective date. For a material change, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use of Casharchy after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where Casharchy’s operator is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
