The Problem

Your money lives in five apps that never talk.

Casharchy runs it as one hierarchy: cash and spending at the top, feeding debt, investments and tax, all rolling up into one net worth and the decades ahead.

Today

A budget app, a brokerage, a spreadsheet and tax software. You reconcile them by hand.

In Casharchy

Cash and Spending are the source. Every other tab is built from them.

How it works

Cash and Spending count what hasn't happened yet.

Your paychecks and bills are forecast rows in one dated ledger. As each one really happens, it turns from forecast into fact, and every tab built on top of it firms up with it.

01

You forecast it

Rent, the card, an electric bill: future rows with your best guess. Cash's balance and Spending's month already include them.

Oct 7Rent-2,400.00
Oct 11Electric bill-142.00
Oct 25Credit card-1,800.00
02

It happens, you match it

The real charge syncs in from your bank. In the Bank Inbox you link it to the forecast row it belongs to.

03

Now it is fact

The estimate becomes the real amount. The month's total drifts from your $4,200 estimate to the $4,310 that happened.

See what your forecast leaves above your floor.

Cash holds the bills and paychecks you have entered for the months ahead. Tell it the lowest balance you want to keep, and Optimize plans transfers of what the forecast shows above that line, without crossing it on any day. Only what is in your ledger is counted.

  • You set the floor and the rhythm: weekly, monthly, quarterly or whenever there is surplus
  • You approve the preview; it is one Undo step
  • A projection, not a transfer: nothing moves until you move it

The year's tax, line by line.

A household worksheet from income to balance due, with paychecks and side income by source. See how a SEP contribution would change the estimate.

Worked example

A two-income household sees six accounts, and $18,400 of idle cash, in one place.

The challenge

Six accounts across three institutions. Dividends and contributions piled up as cash, International drifted 4 points under target, and nobody knew how much could move without starving the checking account before the mortgage.

The result

The Cash forecast showed $2,000 above the household's floor before the 1st. Brokerage showed $18,412 of cash across the six accounts, and each category against the household's own targets: International at 18.1% of a 22% target, Bonds at 15.9% of 18%.
